We’ll begin at 9:00 AM and continue until the draft is finished.

How the draft will work

Review your rankings before the draft begins, then follow along on the draft site and Zoom.

1. Rank Preferences

Review the available items and start ranking your preferred selections ahead of time.

2. Follow the Draft

As selections are made, chosen items automatically disappear from the available list.

Rules of the Road

  • Every draft round will be randomized to give everyone an equal chance to go first.
  • No criticizing someone’s pick or reasoning for their choice.
  • To keep the process moving, trades or swaps can happen after the draft is complete, not during.
  • Anyone may pass on a turn if they do not want any of the remaining items.
  • Review your ranked picks shortly before the draft begins and re-rank your choices if any items are no longer available.
  • If you are not interested in any items in a draft, you may withdraw from that draft before it starts.

Grabables

After the final draft is over, we’ll move on to an activity we’re calling “Grabables.” We’ll use a roaming camera to walk around and show miscellaneous items that are up for grabs, so family joining on Zoom can follow along too.

Planned Grabables

  • Rocks from around the property
  • Lawn and garden tools, including shovels, hoes, and similar implements
  • Garage items, such as scrapers, plant pots, and other miscellaneous supplies
  • Kitchen items, including mix-and-match dishes, serving pieces, and cooking utensils
  • Plastic storage tubs
  • Hangers
  • Towels
  • Electrical cords
  • CDs
